Angel sharks or more commenly known as monkfish, are more like rays than sharks, they have the flat body and long pointed tail. But their fins are more like a shark. This could well be the evolutionery link beetween sharks sand rays. They come from their own family the Squatiniforemes, that contain about 10 different angel shark species.
